Marino’s Auto Upholstery has successfully operated in Cairns in Far North Queensland for over 29 years, we have a  loyal client base consisting of general public, government departments, local business and tour operators.. Our workshop is well established and offers a diverse trimming services from a simple seat repairs through to  full custom retrims and restoration.

We are committed to providing our customers with a high standard of workmanship with good old fashioned service.  Our fully equipped airconditioned workshop will  ensure you are able to achieve high quality work and carry out all duties required.

We seek a qualified and experienced automotive motor trimmer to join our team. This is a full time position within a busy business and friendly environment.

About The Role:

Reporting to the owner, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the below:

• Manufacture and repair of a wide variety of trim works – Automotive and Marine upholstery
• Able to think for themselves and make decisions when problems arise
• Deliver a high standard of work with attention to detail
• Assist other members within the team as required
• Work 38hour week Monday – Friday – Plenty of overtime on offer too
• Position to commence Mid – late January 2023.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in motor trimming trade, highly desirable
• Current Australian driver’s license
• Australian Resident
